According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the contribution was part of his commitment to improving learning environments for school children.

The footages which surfaced online, sparked massive public attention as the former Anambra governor in recent weeks, has been absent from the political scene in Nigeria as his foreign engagements kept him off the headlines.

According to a recent post on his official X handle on Saturday November 29th 2025, the former Anambra governor gave insights into his visit to the secondary school. This was a continuation of his support to educational institutions across the country.

In his statements, he pointed out that he donated the sum of ten million naira, an addition to the sum of twenty five million naira he donated while on a previous visit to the school.

The donation, according to the former governor, was to enable the school build hostels for the students, as it was part of his commitment to improving learning environments for school children.
