There have been several reactions from social media users after it was announced that some thugs have invaded Londa Hotel in the Orazi axis area of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
This announcement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of Arise News on January 2, 2026.
In the report that surfaced online, it was stated that the thugs attacked the hotel when members of the Arise News crew were having a live interview with the former Commissioner for Employment Generation and Empowerment, Dr Leloonu Nwibubasa in Rivers state. The people were holding the interview when the thugs disrupted the whole process.
According to report, the assailants left with some recording equipment before members of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, arrived at the scene of the incident.
