Shehu Sani, a well-known human rights activist and former senator representing Kaduna Central, recently shared his thoughts on X regarding Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and a past presidential candidate for the Labour Party. This came after Obi inquired about the ADC coalition’s zoning arrangements and received an unfavorable response, raising fresh doubts about his 2027 presidential ambitions.
In his comments, Sani delivered a strong message to Obi following the ADC’s refusal to clarify their zoning plans. He encouraged the former governor to stick with the Labour Party to maintain his political relevance. His statements gained significant attention across various social media platforms, eliciting mixed reactions. Sani’s remarks suggested that although Obi has potential for the presidency in 2027, the ADC coalition’s lack of commitment to zoning could obstruct his path.
“Peter wants to know about zoning, and they told him it’s not in their agenda… Peter should stick with the devil he knows,” he noted.
