People Say Olaiye Igwe Is Proud But He Isn’t; That’s Just How God Made His Character – Monsuru Ijayegbemi

Veteran Nollywood actor, Monsuru Ijayegbemi, has come to the defense of his colleague, Lukman Ebun Oloyede, popularly known as Olaiye Igwe, describing him as a humble and wise individual who is often misunderstood by people in the film industry.

Speaking during an interview with Behind The Fame African A-List, Ijayegbemi addressed the misconceptions surrounding Olaiye’s personality, stressing that his perceived pride is simply a misinterpretation of his natural character.

“People say he’s proud but he is not. That’s just how God made his character. If people had supported him, the industry would have been stronger,” Ijayegbemi said.

He further explained that Olaiye is a man of wisdom who knows how to handle sensitive issues within the movie industry.

“He has wisdom and knows how to handle matters. Sometimes people misunderstand his words and think he’s proud, so they won’t accept his advice,” he added.

Ijayegbemi, who has worked closely with Olaiye over the years, emphasized that his colleague’s good nature often shines through, especially when dealing with conflicts.

“But if you wrong him, go to him, explain and apologize. He will tell everyone to hold back and help you. That’s the kind of person Olaiye is,” he said.

The actor’s remarks highlight the challenges faced by public figures whose personalities are often misjudged.

Ijayegbemi’s defense of Olaiye Igwe paints a picture of a man who values peace, forgiveness, and unity in the industry — qualities that, he believes, deserve more recognition than criticism. See, More, Here>>>>
