Only Peter Obi Can Beat Tinubu Hands Down” – CUPP On Why Tinubu Is Afraid and Overrated

The National Secretary of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), High Chief Peter Ameh, has declared that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, remains the only politician capable of defeating President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on the state of the nation, Ameh dismissed the assumption that President Tinubu is a political master strategist who cannot be unseated.

According to the CUPP scribe, the President is “overrated” and has only managed to hold onto power because the opposition was divided in 2023. He argued that the current administration is jittery because they know the reality on the ground.

”Tinubu is afraid of Peter Obi,” Ameh reportedly stated. “They know that if the election is free and fair, Obi will beat him hands down. That is why you see them constantly attacking the Labour Party candidate even when elections are far away.”

Ameh explained that the economic hardship in the country has exposed the weakness of the APC government. He noted that Nigerians are tired of “propaganda” and are yearning for a leader with a proven track record of prudence and integrity.

The opposition leader called on all other political parties to rally behind Peter Obi if they are serious about rescuing Nigeria, insisting that any other strategy would just be playing into the hands of the APC.

This statement has sparked reactions, with many questioning if a coalition is being formed behind the scenes to challenge the incumbent President.
