Onanuga Reacts After Tinubu Said Crisis Began In 2009 And Must Not Be Allowed To Persist Any Longer -

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy has taken to his official X account to react to the statement that was made by the President concerning the issue of insecurity in the country.

In the video that Bayo Onanuga shared on his official X account on Sunday, November 2, 2025, the President said the crisis began in 2009 and must not be allowed to continue.

The President made the statement during a meeting with service chiefs in Abuja.

The President said that;

“Let us deploy technology where necessary. We cannot allow the crisis that began in 2009 to persist any longer. I wish you success as you take up the challenge. I promise to provide all the support you need to get the job done”.

Reacting, Bayo Onanuga stated that President Bola Tinubu appointed new service chiefs because he has always been concerned about the protracted war against terror in the country.

According to Bayo Onanuga on his official X account;

“He expected them to launch a renewed effort in stamping out the twin problems, a point he made clear at the decoration of the service chiefs last week”.
