Nigerian activist and candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC in the 2023 presidential election, Omoyele Sowore has taken to his official X account on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 to react after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu launched a book in honour of former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, the book was titled From Soldier To Statesman.
According to Bayo Onanuga on his official X account;
“President Tinubu at the launch of the book from Soldier to Statesman; The Legacy of Muhammad Buhari at the Presidential Villa”
Reacting, Omoyele Sowore stated that the administration of Muhammadu Buhari was marked by egregious violation of human rights, corruption and several other things.
According to Omoyele Sowore on his official X account;
“Nigerians who endured the suffering inflicted by his administration know the depth of the damage. To glorify that legacy now is not just insensitive; it is an affront to a nation still struggling, and in many ways unable, to recover”.
