Okpebholo: A Governor Who Thinks Peter Obi Needs Visa To Visit Edo Has Nothing To Show Us – Onochie

Monday Okpebholo, the governor of Edo State was recently on the spotlight after his comments over the incident involving the former governor of Anambra governor and erstwhile Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi went viral across various social media platforms.

Displeased by his statements, accompanied by the growing dissatisfaction among the people, several supporters were captured dismantling a campaign billboard in Benin city, the state capital in a bid to register their grievances.

The footage, which garnered widespread traction across various social media platforms, caught the attention of Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the ADC and former presidential aide who in a recent statement, slammed the antics of the governor.

According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle on Thursday March 5th 2026, she pointed out that a governor who always view others as a problem has nothing to offer.
