Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, has issued a strong warning to the United States and Israel, saying any new aggression against Iran would trigger a wide-ranging regional response with serious consequences.
Khamenei made the remarks while responding to recent threats attributed to US President Donald Trump. According to him, Iran would no longer observe what he described as “red lines” if attacked again, warning that future confrontations would not remain limited in scope.
“If America or the Zionist entity carries out any new aggression against Iran, there will be no red lines,” Khamenei said. He added that any such action would be met with a comprehensive response across the region, with the United States and its allies bearing responsibility for the outcome.
The Iranian leader also dismissed suggestions that a future conflict could be contained, describing such views as unrealistic. He warned that the entire region would be drawn into a new phase of instability unlike anything the aggressors have previously experienced.
Iranian officials have repeatedly accused the US and Israel of threatening the country’s sovereignty and security, while insisting that Iran’s military posture is defensive. Tehran has also said it will respond decisively to any attack on its territory or interests.
The comments come amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, fueled by ongoing conflicts, military operations, and sharp rhetoric between regional and global powers. Analysts warn that escalating statements from all sides could increase the risk of miscalculation and further destabilize the region.
The United States and Israel have not immediately responded to Khamenei’s latest remarks. International observers continue to call for restraint, stressing the need for diplomatic engagement to prevent a wider regional conflict.
