This comment came after Keyamo criticized the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for failing to zone its presidential ticket. He pointed out that in a multicultural nation like Nigeria, it is crucial for any nationwide party to be clear about zoning, referencing the APC’s successful approach in 2023, while the PDP continues to struggle due to its poor decision that year.
In response, Ibe accused Keyamo of hypocrisy, noting that he previously sued President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over certificate forgery but is now supporting him. He wrote on his X account, “Your hypocrisy is undeniable. You are the same Festus Keyamo who took Tinubu to court for certificate forgery, yet now you are his mouthpiece for propaganda.”
