Kanu: As For Those Agitating Or Going Out For Demonstrations, They Have The Right To Do So- Soludo

The governor of Anambra state, Charles Soludo has stated that those planning to protest in support of the release of Nnamdi Kanu are allowed under the constitution to do so.

This statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of VANGUARD on Monday, October 20, 2025.

This is coming after Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore and several other southeast leaders announced that they will be protesting in support of the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

In the report that surfaced online, Charles Soludo said his role as a governor is to govern the people while the role of social activists is to protest. The Anambra state governor said in democracy, everyone has the right to peaceful protest and freedom of expression.
