Iranian President Sets 3 Key Conditions To End War With The US And Israel

According to the Anadolu Agency, as the war between Iran, the United States and Israel approaches its second week, Tehran has spelled out what it says is the only path to peace. But the conditions laid out by Iran suggest the conflict may be far from over.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the fighting could end if the United States and Israel recognize Iran’s rights, compensate the country for damages caused by recent attacks, and guarantee that Iran will not face future aggression.

“The only way to end this war, ignited by the Zionist regime & US, is recognizing Iran’s legitimate rights, payment of reparations, and firm int’l guarantees against future aggression,” Pezeshkian wrote on his official X account.

The phrase “legitimate rights” is widely interpreted as referring to Iran’s right to continue nuclear enrichment, a major point of disagreement between Tehran and Washington. The United States has long insisted that Iran must completely halt enrichment activities, making Tehran’s demand a difficult one for Washington to accept.

Iran has also reportedly told regional mediators that a ceasefire would only be possible if both the US and Israel promise not to strike Iran again in the future. However, it remains unclear whether Washington would be willing, or able to give such guarantees on Israel’s behalf.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has projected confidence that the war could end soon. In comments to Axios, he suggested the conflict could be wrapped up whenever the United States decides.

“There is practically nothing to target. Any time I want it to end, it will end,” Trump said.

Iran’s military leadership quickly pushed back against those remarks. The powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps insisted that it will be Tehran not Washington, that ultimately decides when the war is over.

At the center of growing concern is the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical oil routes. Iran has threatened to keep the passage blocked, a move that could prolong the crisis and disrupt global energy supplies even if the United States pulls back militarily.

The conflict is also stirring debate inside the US. Polls suggest many Americans are uneasy about the war, and some prominent conservative voices have begun questioning the administration’s approach.

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan voiced frustration over the situation.

“It just seems so insane. He ran on no more wars: End these stupid, senseless wars. And then we have one that we can’t even really clearly define why we did it,” Rogan said.

With both sides digging in and diplomatic options still uncertain, the path toward ending the conflict remains unclear, and the risk of a longer, more dangerous confrontation continues to grow…..See More
