Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to address the controversies that trailed his mode of service to his principal. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that he was ready to do anything to change the story of his family for good.
Many were left stunned after Lere Olayinka, the special adviser on media to the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike was captured prostrating to serve his principal, an act which drew widespread condemnation from different quarters.
The incident, which sparked massive public attention, was frowned upon by notable individuals, including respected and renowned journalist Oseni Rufai of AriseTv. In the aftermath of the public backlash, the special adviser has found it necessary to address the controversy.
According to the statements which were published on his official X handle, he countered most of the statements of his critics, and made it known that he was ready to do anything to change the story of his family for good.
Lere Olayinka, widely known for his outspokenness, pointed out that if it took rendering service even to the children to change the story of his family, he was ready to do it.
He further accused his critics of hypocrisy as according to him, many of them serve others to gain cheap favors. “From people who have served Daddy GO, Mummy GO and now serving Children GO” he wrote amid a sarcastic tone.
