Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage opened up about her dating life, disclosing that most of the men currently showing interest in her are either older or already married.
According to The Vanguard, during a recent interview on the American podcast Air Service, she explained that she had reached a point in her life where finding an eligible bachelor was increasingly difficult, as most of them were either in their 50s or already taken.
Tiwa reportedly noted that while she remained open to love, the reality of her situation reflected how challenging it could be for successful women to find suitable partners at a certain stage in life.
“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they’re either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know — maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” she said.
The “Somebody’s Son” crooner reportedly added that she would have no issues being in a polygamous marriage, explaining that she would respect the first wife and remain focused on her career.
She was quoted as saying that she believed she could get along well with the first wife, who would likely appreciate her calm nature. Tiwa noted that her frequent tours would keep her busy and prevent any domestic conflict, emphasizing that she was a respectful person who would acknowledge the seniority of the first wife.
