I Want To Call On Christians Never To Be Timid Never Shy Away From Christianity -General CG Musa

In a powerful address at the Conquerors Global Assembly, Nigeria’s newly nominated Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa, issued a bold charge to Christians.

The immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, who was a guest at the Bishop David Abioye-led church, urged believers to demonstrate unwavering faith in public life.

“Never ever be timid. Never shy away from showing that you are a Christian, that you follow Christ wherever you are,” General Musa declared.

According to a recent video by Church Gist on Tuesday December 2, 2025, he cautioned against hiding one’s faith for temporal gain, reminding the congregation of the biblical consequence of being ashamed of Christ.

His nomination comes six months after he first testified in the church, crediting Bishop Abioye’s steadfast prayers for making a significant difference in his life and career.

General Musa, who described his wife as a prayer warrior inspired by the Bishop’s wife, called for unity and persistent prayer for Nigeria’s security and prosperity. He assured the congregation that the armed forces are working tirelessly to protect the nation, emphasizing that their prayers are essential to this national effort.

His Words: “ I want to call on all of us as Christians never to be timid. Never shy away from showing that you are a Christian and that you follow Christ, wherever you are”.
