Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has released another strong political message ahead of the 2026 general elections. Speaking during a live session, the cleric insisted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) must make careful decisions in the coming months or risk internal crisis and unexpected setbacks.
In his words, Ayodele emphasized that some party members are refusing to listen to warnings. He said: “Go and write it. You can respond because you are not ready to listen. Respond. People that will respond to you will respond, not me.”
The cleric stressed that Senator Iyiola Omisore remains a major factor in the political calculations of 2026. According to him, “I still repeat it again, Omishore is an answer for president. Victory is in the hands of God, but they will not want him. He is the best.”
Ayodele warned that APC may face difficulty if it decides to choose another candidate. He stated clearly that “if they bring out any candidate, no candidate will give them a tough time like Omisore.”
He also cautioned those underestimating the strength of other parties, especially the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He declared: “Don’t say ADC cannot make a wave. ADC can make waves.”
Speaking further, Ayodele predicted tension within APC primaries, noting that internal conflict may erupt due to attempts to alter existing arrangements. He said: “There will be violence in their primaries because some people wanted to change it.”
