According to a report by Punch on Monday, October 20, 2025, Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has stated that President Bola Tinubu will win 95 percent of the votes in Kaduna State during the 2027 presidential election.
He said this during a mega rally held at Murtala Square, Kaduna, where many politicians joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) from opposition parties.
The event saw four state lawmakers, five federal legislators, and thousands of supporters move from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties to the APC.
Governor Sani said this mass defection showed that the people trusted both President Tinubu’s government and his leadership in the state.
He said Kaduna no longer had any strong opposition and that the APC was now fully in control.
The governor explained that when he first promised Tinubu 80 percent of the votes, it was a target.
But now, he was confident that the APC would secure at least 95 percent of the votes in the state.
Governor Sani said the support for his government came from fairness, justice, and inclusion in governance.
He noted that Kaduna was one of the most diverse states in Nigeria but had remained peaceful under his watch.
According to him, his administration had worked hard to promote unity and prevent ethnic or religious crises.
He assured the new members that the APC was one united family that welcomed everyone equally.
He promised that all members, whether old or new, would enjoy equal opportunities within the party.
“I promised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu some months ago that we were looking at 80 per cent of the votes, but now I have shifted my ground. About 95 per cent of the total votes in Kaduna State will go to APC in 2027,” he said.Continue, Full, Reading>>>>
