A Nollywood actor, Olaide Olajire, better known as Ajani Atoribewu, has stated that he has a scar on his body from a gunshot injury
In an interview on Behind The Fame African A-List, Olajire stated that the same person who shot him later gave him 3,000 naira to go to the hospital. He said the 3 thousand naira he was given then is nearly equivalent to three hundred thousand naira of today
Olajire said instead of going to the hospital, he chose to treat himself locally by applying palm oil to the wound and continued living his normal life
In Olajire’s words: “I have a scar on my body from a gunshot. At that time I only had 500 naira, the same person who shot the gun later gave me 3,000 naira. In those days when wealthy people were leaving events, we would stand by their cars so they could give us money to eat. That man saw my condition and told me to take the money and go to hospital for treatment, that 3,000 naira was like 300,000 naira in today’s value. But instead of going to the hospital I went to local palm oil producers and started applying palm oil to the wound. I even gave some people 20 thousand naira and continued living my normal life”……See More
