Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and ADC Chieftain has taken to his official X handle to make a remarkable comment regarding his generosity towards a prestigious University in Anambra State. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that he had supported the school for over a decade.
Students and management of the Paul University, Awka in Anambra State were left stunned after the former governor of the state and ADC Chieftain, Peter Obi paid them a surprise visit.
However, the ensuing scene sparked massive public attention as the former governor, in his usual manner of generosity, donated a humongous amount to the school to support it’s growth.
This was contained in a recent statement which the former Anambra governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate shared on his official X handle on Saturday March 28th, 2026.
According to his statements, he disclosed that he donated the sum of thirty million naira (N30m) to the prestigious University to encourage its growth and development. He equally disclosed that he had been supporting the school for over a decade.
From the photos which the former Anambra governor shared, he can be seen handling over the cheque to the students, staff and management of the Paul University.
