Senator Dino Melaye, a former Kogi State lawmaker and ADC Chieftain recently made a striking comment while addressing a large number of supporters during a political rally in Abuja. According to his statements which were shared by SymfoniTV, he disclosed the reasons why the ADC was unperturbed over APC’s dominance.
The recent wave of defections to the All Progressive Congress from different political parties raised serious concerns, as many believed that the dominance of the ruling party was detrimental to democracy.
However, Senator Dino Melaye, a respected legal practitioner and former Kogi State lawmaker in a recent statement, dismissed the movements of several political heavyweights, including governors to the ruling party.
The statements were made while addressing a large number of supporters during a recent summit in the federal capital territory, Abuja which also had in attendance the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi.
According to his statements which were made available to the general public by SymfoniTV on their official YouTube page, he pointed out that the previous general election was a pointer to what should be expected in 2027.
In his arguments, he pointed out that the then Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party won a combined fourteen states that had APC sitting governors.
Despite the numerous advantage, according to the former federal lawmaker, the APC remained afraid.
