In a recent video shared on his official Facebook page, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, issued a strong warning to the All Progressives Congress (APC) over its governorship plans, cautioning that the party risks losing if it imposes an unpopular candidate on the people.
Primate Ayodele, known for his accurate political prophecies, stated emphatically that the person currently being considered by APC “cannot be governor.” He advised the ruling party to tread carefully and allow a transparent and people-driven process rather than using force or influence to determine who emerges as the flagbearer.
According to the cleric, any attempt by the APC to impose a candidate will backfire politically and open the door for opposition parties to capitalize on public resentment. “He cannot be governor. If APC imposes him, then they will lose,” Ayodele warned.
Interestingly, the cleric mentioned that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) stands a strong chance to win if the ruling party mishandles its internal affairs. He urged members of the ADC to stay united and strategic, noting that divine favor could smile on them if they seize the opportunity.
“The ADC can win if they play their cards right,” he said, emphasizing that the political atmosphere is shifting in favor of lesser-known parties capable of connecting with grassroots voters.
Primate Ayodele has consistently issued prophetic insights on Nigeria’s political landscape, many of which have come to pass. His latest message serves as both a caution and an opportunity for political stakeholders as preparations intensify ahead of the next governorship election.
He concluded by urging politicians to prioritize fairness, truth, and service to the people, stressing that “no amount of political manipulation can overturn divine will.”
