Engineer Buba Galadima, a prominent leader in the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and a key associate of the party’s national chairman, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has downplayed claims that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is guaranteed success in the 2027 general elections, despite the party’s increasing dominance across state governments, according to an interview with The Nigerian Tribune.
He argued that vigilance is key, emphasizing that both the public and the media must remain alert to political developments. He noted that his party has taken steps in this regard, citing a recent publication aimed at raising awareness among relevant stakeholders.
Galadima went on to criticize the president directly, claiming that even appeals to higher authority would be ineffective because Tinubu, in his view, disregards the law—citing the alleged manipulation of the tax law and the transfer of public funds to foreign authorities as examples.
Responding to suggestions that the PDP might be too weak to challenge the APC, he insisted that, despite its current state, the party will emerge victorious in the next national election.
Further talking, he said, “Go and write it down that I say the PDP will win the next presidential election because it can bounce back with the right candidate.
“Is Tinubu God ? Write this down again – we will not allow the Judiciary or any arm of the government to be used against the people.”
He maintained that past instances where electoral victories were reassigned or manipulated would not be repeated in the forthcoming elections. While such attempts might be made, he insisted they would ultimately fail, predicting that Tinubu would lose and be forced to leave office once that happens.
Commenting on skepticism about his claim, he acknowledged that some find it surprising to hear him assert that the PDP will emerge victorious in the next national election.Read The Complete Original.
