Forget That America Is Coming To Help You, America Has Their Reason Of Coming To Nigeria—Ayodele

According to a video shared on Facebook, Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned Nigeria against placing too much trust in foreign intervention, particularly from the United States, cautioning that such involvement may be driven by hidden strategic interests.

Speaking during the address, the cleric urged both citizens and government officials to approach external assistance with caution. He challenged the widespread belief that powerful nations offer support purely out of goodwill, stating bluntly, “Forget that America is coming to help you.” His remarks underscore a broader concern about dependency on foreign powers in addressing domestic challenges.

Ayodele went further to argue that international involvement is rarely without conditions. “America is not helping you for anything. America has their reason of coming to Nigeria,” he said, suggesting that geopolitical and economic calculations often shape such engagements. His comments reflect fears that partnerships with global powers may prioritize foreign agendas over national interests.

He also raised concerns about the potential cost of such cooperation, warning that Nigeria could end up conceding more than it gains. “If they are helping you, they will take more from you,” he added, pointing to possible trade-offs that could affect the country’s resources, autonomy, and long-term development.

In addition, the cleric expressed strong reservations about the idea of hosting foreign military installations. “American military base in Nigeria is a threat,” he warned, emphasizing that such a move could introduce new security risks and complicate the nation’s geopolitical standing.

Ayodele’s remarks contribute to ongoing debates about sovereignty, national interest, and the implications of foreign partnerships, urging Nigeria to carefully weigh its decisions in dealing with global powers….See More
