Buba Galadima, a member of the NNPP and Secretary of the party’s Board of Trustees, has stated that he and Rabiu Kwankwaso made serious sacrifices to help Abba Yusuf become governor of Kano State
In an interview with Arise TV, Galadima said he traveled by road at 2 a.m. from Enugu to Awka and then to Umaulu in Anambra State to secure a political platform for Yusuf to contest the election. He stated that he and Kwankwaso did not sleep for 3 days and there was nothing they did not do to ensure Yusuf succeeded and became governor. He said Yusuf eventually became governor but has now betrayed them by defecting to APC
In Galadima’s words: “I could remember my journey to Umaulu in Anambra State at 2.a.m by road from Enugu to Awka to Umaulu just to go and secure a platform that the greatest beneficiary is Abba Kabir Yusuf. I could remember for three days me and Kwankwaso never had a blink of an eye, let alone sleep. And there is nothing under the sun we didn’t do for Abba to prevail and he did prevail.
