Farotimi Reacts To Report Claiming That Buhari's Govt Also Admitted Boko Haram Targets Christians -

Human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has taken to his official X account on Friday, November 7, 2025 to react to a report claiming that the administration of former President, Muhammadu Buhari also admitted that Boko Haram terrorists target Christians.

The report which was published by PUNCH claimed that after an earlier denial, the administration of Buhari admitted that the terrorists group target Christians.

The report surfaced online after the President of the United State of America, Donald Trump designated Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern. The US President also threatened military action if nothing is done to curb the killing of Christians.

Reacting, Dele Farotimi stated that the US President doesn’t know what he is talking about.

The human rights activist said the sovereignty of the nation is by far more important than the truth.

According to Dele Farotimi on his official X account;

“Donald Trump does not know what he is talking about. Our sovereignty is by far more important than the truth”.
