Even With The Decamping, He Knows There’s No Way He’s Going To Win SE Without Releasing MNK -Isa

President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Atiku Isa, has stated that President Bola Tinubu is carefully calculating his political moves regarding the South-East and the detention of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

In an interview with SYMFONI TV, Isa explained that despite the recent wave of governors defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tinubu understands that winning votes in the South-East will be difficult without addressing Kanu’s detention. He noted that Tinubu may be deliberately holding back, with plans to release Kanu closer to the election period as a way to gain political leverage.

Isa stressed that many people in the South-East remain loyal to Kanu, and any move to secure his release could significantly shift political support in Tinubu’s favor.

His words,

“The truth of the matter is that even with what is going on the decamping of governors into APC, president Tinubu knows that there’s no way he’s going to win votes in the southeast if he doesn’t release mazi Nnamdi Kanu, so he’s playing his card very well.”….See More
