One of the chieftains of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima has reacted to the detention of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
The statement of Buba Galadima was contained in a post that Channels TV shared on its official X handle on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
In the post that surfaced online, Buba Galadima stated that the Federal Government is deliberately dealing with members of the opposition parties.
He said there are several people in the All Progressive Congress, APC who have committed offenses worse than that of the former governor of Kaduna state and former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN.
Buba Galadima said some of those who presided over the amendment of the Electoral Bill were accused of stealing N500 billion.
