Former Kogi lawmaker and one of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Senator Dino Melaye has taken to his official X account to react to video of large crowd welcoming Jigawa lawmaker, Senator Sabo Nakudu into the ADC.
The former Kogi lawmaker posted the video on his official X account on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
After the video surfaced online, Senator Dino Melaye stated that Senator Sabo Nakudu has officially registered as a member of the African Democratic Congress. He said the lawmaker defected from the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC some days ago.
Senator Dino Melaye stated that the ADC is moving forward.
