Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has reacted after the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi was spotted among those protesting.

The reaction of Dele Farotimi was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Monday, February 9, 2026.

According to THE CABLE, the former governor of Anambra state joined several other Nigerians to protest the Electoral Bill at the National Assembly.

However, Dele Farotimi has now reacted after the report surfaced online. In the statement that he shared on his official X handle, he commended Peter Obi and other Nigerians who visited the National Assembly to protest.
