Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission has taken to his official X handle to react after the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasiru El-Rufai was remanded in custody by the EFCC. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the anti-graft agency expressed true love.
Many were left stunned after the former governor of Kaduna State and ADC Chieftain, Nasiru El-Rufai was remanded in custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
It can be recalled that the former governor, had honoured an invitation by the anti-graft agency, however, on arrival, he was made to answer series of questions and detained for further inquiries.
However, the incident which occurred on his birthday sparked massive reactions from the general public, including from Chidi Odinkalu, a respected human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the anti-graft agency expressed true love to the former governor, and might organize a birthday bash within the EFCC facility.
