Ceasefire Violation: It’s Going To Be Handled Properly, It’s Going To Be Handle Toughly -Trump

According to a report by The Times Of Israel, U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday downplayed Hamas leadership’s involvement in the deadly assault on Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops in the southern Gaza Strip, suggesting the attack may have been carried out by “some rebels within” the group.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said that while the situation was serious, it would be managed decisively. “Either way, it’s going to be handled properly. It’s going to be handled toughly, but properly,” he stated, emphasizing that the United States was closely monitoring developments in Gaza.

The president voiced optimism that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas could withstand the recent violence, noting that Washington remains committed to ensuring stability in the region. “We want to make sure that it’s going to be very peaceful with Hamas,” Trump said, expressing hope that the truce would continue despite occasional flare-ups.

“As you know, they’ve been quite rambunctious. They’ve been doing some shooting, and we think maybe the leadership isn’t involved in that,” he reiterated, implying that elements within Hamas might be acting independently of the group’s command structure.

Trump’s remarks come amid heightened tensions following what Israel described as a ceasefire violation that left several soldiers dead. His comments appear aimed at preventing further escalation while preserving diplomatic efforts to maintain calm.

By suggesting that Hamas’s senior leadership may not have authorized the assault, Trump signaled that Washington remains open to engaging with regional partners to reinforce the fragile ceasefire. The administration has consistently called for restraint from both sides, stressing the importance of avoiding actions that could reignite large-scale conflict in Gaza.See, More, Here>>>>
