“By Next Year, Senate President Godswill Akpabio Will Know That He Has Problems -Primate Ayodele

In a recent Facebook video, Primate Ayodele addressed the growing political tension within Nigeria’s legislative arm, offering a detailed warning about what he believes will unfold in the coming months.

He recalled that “last week they said there’s an alledge to remove the Senate President,” noting that although such talks have surfaced, “it’s not yet time.”

According to him, the real turning point is still ahead. Ayodele emphasized that by next year, the Senate President “will know that he has problem,” suggesting that the political pressure currently building beneath the surface will eventually manifest in a more direct and unavoidable confrontation.

Expanding on his message, the cleric explained that both chambers of the National Assembly — the House of Representatives and the Senate — will soon face internal conflict.

He predicted that instability will not be limited to a single arm of the legislature but will cut across both bodies.

In his words, “House of reps and senate they are going to fight,” pointing to an expected breakdown of cooperation between lawmakers.

Ayodele stressed that this looming conflict will not be subtle or hidden.

Instead, it will become openly visible to Nigerians, as he repeated that “they will oppose themselves, you will see they will oppose themselves.”

The cleric’s comments indicate a belief that the political harmony often projected within the National Assembly is fragile and likely to be disrupted by internal divisions, rivalries, and power struggles.

His statements suggest that while current discussions about removing the Senate President may appear premature, they foreshadow deeper issues that will unfold with greater intensity in the coming year.
