Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the AAC, has reacted to the partial collapse of the Kugbo Bus Terminal in Nyanya, Abuja, after heavy rain and windstorms.
In a video shared by TV Platinum, Sowore said about 30 billion naira was used by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to build the bus terminal and it collapsed just ten months after it was built. He said the collapse shows there were serious problems in how the terminal was built.
Sowore said it appears proper checks were not carried out before construction started. He said there may not have been quantity surveyors involved, and that due diligence and quality assurance were likely ignored
