The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that candidates contesting in the forthcoming election in Abuja may face an uphill task, stating that he foresees victory only for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ayodele made the assertion during a church service while addressing political developments ahead of the anticipated polls in the Federal Capital Territory. According to him, “Those who want to contest tomorrow election in Abuja, I have not seen you winning except APC.”
The cleric, known for his prophetic pronouncements on political matters, said his statement was based on what he described as divine revelation. He advised opposition candidates to intensify their strategies if they hope to alter what he predicted as the likely outcome of the election.
Abuja, being the nation’s capital, often attracts heightened political attention during elections, with major parties deploying significant resources to secure victory. Political observers note that the APC has maintained a strong presence in the FCT in recent years, although opposition parties have also continued to build grassroots support.
Ayodele urged politicians to focus on issue-based campaigns rather than personal attacks, emphasizing that the electorate deserves credible leadership and practical solutions to pressing challenges. He also cautioned that elections should be conducted peacefully and transparently to maintain public trust in the democratic process.
The prophet further called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure a free and fair exercise, stressing that credible elections remain vital to Nigeria’s democratic stability.
While some of his followers expressed confidence in his prediction, others believe that electoral outcomes ultimately depend on voter turnout, campaign effectiveness, and political alliances formed ahead of the polls.
As preparations intensify for the Abuja election, stakeholders continue to appeal for calm and peaceful participation from all parties involved. Ayodele’s latest pronouncement is expected to generate reactions across party lines as candidates make their final push for support in the nation’s capital…. Discover More News
