Veteran Nollywood actress Abimbola Adegboye, also known as Ato Aseku, has revealed why she has refused to get married again after the death of her husband, while also stating how a lot of men still admire her whenever she goes out.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Feel Right News TV during an interview, she made it known that it’s been two years since her husband died, saying that she refused to get married again because she already has grown-up children to take care of.
According to Abimbola Adegboye, she said, “My husband died 20 years ago, and I decided to remain single because I already have grown-up children. Before the death of my husband, I had been staying alone in a rented apartment, and it was my husband that gave me the permission to stay alone because actors were calling me for movie roles in Lagos. One day, I went out with my children, a man called me, and he told my children that he admired me, but my children were very angry with him, and we left. As old as I am, I’m still admired by a lot of men, and men still toast me whenever I go out. Even in the movie industry, some men have toasted me, but I refused to be in a relationship with them.”
