The former governor of Rivers state and Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has criticized the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi for eating corn by the road side during a campaign in Abuja.
Wike made the statement in a video that Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social media to FCT Minister shared on his official X account on Monday, February 23, 2026.
In the video that surfaced online, the FCT Minister said any politician who wants to win election must be able to show the people what he has done.
The FCT Minister made the statement while speaking at an event that was organized by the government of Edo state.
