Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has extended a personal invitation to veteran journalist and Arise TV presenter Dr. Reuben Abati, challenging him to visit the state with his wife and see its ongoing development projects firsthand.
Speaking in media coverage by Channels TV, Okpebholo made the demand with confidence. “I will use this opportunity to invite Reuben Abati of Arise TV. I will also write you a special letter. By the time you spend two days in Edo State, you and your wife will vote for Asiwaju. I will take you out myself. I will drive you from one project to another project. Two days, one week is not enough to go around. But I will just take you around to a few sites, and then we will know whether you will be the one to go and start campaigning for us — not against us — because in this state, everything we are doing is practical,” he said.
