A Man Who Stole N7 Billion Meant For Weapons To Fight Terrorists,You Named Street After Him -Falana

Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has stated that a street in his area of Lagos State was recently named after a former governor

Speaking in an interview with The Legacy Series, Falana said the former governor was accused of stealing close to 7 billion naira meant for buying arms and ammunition to fight terrorists. He said the ex-governor was taken to court but was later freed on technical grounds.

Falana stated that presenting such a person as a hero by naming a street after him sends the wrong message to young people.
