Social media users have taken to their official X account on January 25, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by one of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani after a secondary school student, Yakubu Muhammad challenged a suicide bomber.
According to the post that the former Kaduna lawmaker shared on his page, he said the incident happened in Borno state.
He said the suicide bomber was on his way to bomb several people when Yakubu grabbed him and they died in the process.
According to Shehu Sani on his official X account;
“He charged to the suicide bomber and grabbed him tightly. The suicide bomber and Yakubu perished in the blast, thereby saving the lives of hundreds of people. An unforgettable heroic act. He should be immortalized”.
