Primate Elijah Ayodele has dismissed claims in a news report alleging that he made a prophecy that is currently trending online. He said he was surprised by the report, insisting that he never issued such a prophecy and does not know where it originated.
The cleric stated that misrepresentation of his prophecies by some online media outlets has become a recurring issue. He explained that these platforms often exclude vital details from his messages to create false or misleading interpretations. He added that all his authentic prophecies are communicated strictly through verified and official channels.
“I recently saw a report attributing a prophecy to me, but I want to clearly state that I never made such a declaration. I do not know when or where the statement came from. Many times, my prophecies have been misunderstood or deliberately altered, with important information removed to suit the narratives of bloggers and certain media houses,” he explained.
Primate Ayodele appealed to media organizations to confirm facts before sharing them with the public. He emphasized that responsible and accurate journalism is essential to avoid confusion and to ensure that the true messages of his ministry are properly conveyed.
