The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has visited Omoku, the headquarters of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, as part of his ongoing thank-you visit to communities across the state.
According to a media post by Honourable Lere Olayinka, Media Aide to the FCT Minister, on Friday, 2 December 2025, the former Rivers State governor was accompanied by his son, Jordan Wike, and members of his entourage during the visit.
The visit was aimed at appreciating the people of Omoku for their support, loyalty, and goodwill.
Residents and supporters turned out in large numbers to welcome the minister, creating a lively atmosphere filled with cheers and expressions of solidarity.
During the visit, Wike interacted with community leaders, party stakeholders, and supporters, expressing gratitude for their continued support and reaffirming his strong connection with the people of the area.
It was revealed that the Omoku visit is part of a broader tour across Rivers State by the FCT Minister to thank supporters and stakeholders for their support over the years.
