I Am Asking Edison Ehie And Your Group To Translate This Crowd To Support For Tinubu In 2027 -Fubara

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has instructed his Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie, to convert the massive crowd that welcomed him in Ahoada East Local Government into electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

Speaking at the commissioning of the 14.5 kilometres road in Obodhi-Ozochi road, Governor Fubara made the request while referencing the overwhelming reception he received. “I have only one request. On my way in here, I couldn’t access my seat because of the mammoth crowd. I am asking Edison Ehie and your group translate this crowd to the support that we’re going to give to Mr. President come 2027. We know that when this crowd comes out, it’s a walk over here. You did it for me in 2023. Start preparing the grounds for 2027 for Mr. President,” he said in a media coverage by Symfoni TV.

The governor also dismissed allegations by House of Assembly Speaker Martins Amaewhule that he is using funds left by the sole administrator to finance opposition against FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.

Fubara defended his financial accountability spanning multiple administrations. He stated that comprehensive records exist documenting his expenditures from when he first assumed government responsibilities in accounting positions, extending beyond the immediate past administration.

The governor challenged critics to request evidence at any time, asserting he can demonstrate exactly how funds have been spent. He noted that state resources are being utilized for Rivers people’s interests and the state’s betterment rather than political vendetta.
