Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released another strong political message ahead of the 2026 general elections, warning that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) should not be underestimated. According to him, the party has what he described as “only two strategies ADC will do to defeat APC”, insisting that the ruling All Progressives Congress must act wisely if it hopes to remain in power.
Speaking in a recent prophetic session, Primate Ayodele cautioned that the APC is walking into avoidable trouble if it fields the wrong candidate. He stressed that any candidate outside the right choice would struggle, adding that the consequences could be severe for the party. He also warned that internal resistance may work against the person he believes is “God’s interest,” creating room for ADC to gain momentum.
The cleric predicted a rise in ADC’s popularity from February, stating that the party is “very, very serious” and now enjoys what he called “international backup.” He advised political watchers not to dismiss the possibility of an upset in 2026, noting that the opposition could even announce victory before official results.
Primate Ayodele also offered security warnings, urging authorities to pay close attention to Kaduna and Kano, while advising government officials to avoid unnecessary public statements that may expose their strategies.
He concluded by urging APC leaders to avoid internal errors, emphasizing that the election season will be turbulent. According to him, the party has just three steps to secure victory, but ADC needs only two strategic moves to pull off a major political upset.
