Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued fresh warnings regarding the Obedient movement and Nigeria’s 2027 presidential race. In a recent video, the cleric revealed troubling insights about the movement’s future and political developments.
Ayodele first addressed the stability of the Obedient group, stating: “The so-called Obedient… I see that they will crash. There won’t be anything like Obedient again, and Obedient will begin to expose themselves.” He warned that the movement is heading toward internal turmoil that could unravel its current structure.
The cleric also highlighted deeper concerns within the group, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation: “There are some frightening things in Obedient. Honestly, Obi will not be president of Nigeria.” According to Ayodele, the combination of internal challenges and political miscalculations could significantly weaken the group’s influence in national affairs.
Turning to the 2027 presidential race, Ayodele dismissed speculations about Obi’s potential victory, describing them as unrealistic: “To say Obi will become Nigeria’s president in 2027 — that one is a joke. And the Obedient too are joking.” The cleric implied that overconfidence among the movement’s supporters may further undermine its political strategy.
Ayodele urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and prayerful, particularly as political uncertainties continue to rise. He noted that his revelations are not personal opinions but prophecies given to him, aimed at guiding citizens and political actors to make informed decisions.
