Tinubu: I’m grateful to you for making my brother, from my own soil CDS — Primate Ayodele

Spiritual leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for appointing someone from his village as the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS).

In a statement, Ayodele said he was personally grateful for the president’s choice, describing the appointee as his “own brother” and a source of pride for his community.

“Let me hail Tinubu for making CDS from my own village,” he said. “CDS taking somebody from my village, who’s like a brother, my brother the CDS. It is of the highest order.”

The cleric noted that the people of Ekiti State were thankful to President Tinubu for recognizing and elevating one of their own to such a significant national position.
