According to Anadolu Agency, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has completed another wave of offensive strikes against Iranian military assets, marking the sixth consecutive night of American operations targeting the Islamic Republic.
The latest bombardment, confirmed early Saturday, focused on coastal surveillance and air defense sites, military logistics infrastructure, and maritime capabilities along Iran’s southern coastline, according to a CENTCOM statement. The sustained campaign represents the most intense U.S. military pressure on Iran in decades.
Iranian media have confirmed significant casualties and damage from the overnight raids. Reports indicate that strikes in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas killed at least one person and injured eight others. In a separate attack near Bandar Khamir in Hormozgan Province, seven were killed and nine wounded, bringing the confirmed toll to eight dead and seventeen injured across the two locations.
The strikes come just hours after President Donald Trump addressed the nation, vowing that American military superiority would yield rapid results. “We have rebuilt our military to be the most powerful force the world has ever seen,” Trump said. “Our adversaries are weaker, our allies are stronger, and we are winning big in Iran. The results of this campaign will be seen very shortly.”
