Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate has taken to his official X handle to lament over what he believed was unfair judgement due to ethnic origin.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Monday June 8th, 2026 he pointed out that as an Igbo man, he had also endured unfair judgement and name-calling.
His comments came amid the heated arguments that trailed the recent upsurge in bandit activities across the country, as he took time to defend the Fulani people.
The former Anambra State governor maintained that people should not be judged by their ethnicity, but by their actions as he maintained that terrorists and criminals do not represent a particular race.
To drive down his points, he quoted the words of the famous American orator Martin Luther King who declared that people should be judged based on the content of their character.
