According to a report by Fox News, on Saturday May 2, 2026, President Trump revealed today that he has been presented with a range of aggressive military options to conclude the ongoing conflict with Iran, signaling a pivotal moment in the 60-day war.
Speaking after a high-level briefing in the Situation Room, the President laid out a stark choice between total military decimation of the enemy and a potential diplomatic resolution.
“Do we want to go and just blast the hell out of them and finish them forever or do we want to try and make a deal?” President Trump said. “Those are the options. Do you want to go blast the hell out of them? I prefer not. On a human basis, I prefer not, but that’s the option.”
