Joshua Iginla Reveals 3 Mistake A Man In Their Life Journey And What They Should Do About It

Nigerian cleric Joshua Iginla has cautioned men about three common mistakes he believes often derail their lives, warning that ignoring these issues can lead to health challenges, regret, and a difficult old age.

In a message shared on his official channel on YouTube, the pastor reflected on patterns he has observed among many men and urged them to take a more balanced and strategic approach to life.

According to Iginla, the first major error is neglecting personal well-being. He noted that many men devote their time, energy, and finances to supporting their families while paying little attention to their own health and personal development.

He stressed that men must deliberately care for themselves by monitoring their health, maintaining proper nutrition, getting adequate sleep, and investing in their own growth. Without this, he warned, years of sacrifice can end in serious health problems.

The second mistake, he said, is a failure to recognise the different stages of life. Iginla explained that a man’s lifespan can be broadly divided into three phases of roughly 30 years each: the “morning” stage from ages 1 to 30, the “afternoon” stage from 30 to 60, and the “night” stage from 60 to 90.

He emphasised that once a man passes 40, he is firmly in the afternoon phase of life, a period that should be marked by intentional planning and preparation for the future.

The third and final mistake highlighted by the cleric is over-commitment, particularly when men exhaust their personal resources on ministry, public responsibilities, or helping others while neglecting to secure their own future.

Iginla warned that failing to plan adequately can leave individuals dependent on others in old age — a situation he described as especially painful for people who once held public influence or leadership roles.

He urged men to adopt wiser priorities, noting that balance, foresight, and self-care are essential for maintaining dignity later in life….See More
