Nigerian prophet Primate Ayodele has raised serious concerns over the construction of a massive 3 million capacity church, describing it as a project that may not align with God’s true purpose.
According to Ayodele, the vision behind the structure is not divinely inspired but rooted in human ambition. He claimed that God revealed to him that the project, despite its size and global attention, could end up being a waste of resources rather than a source of spiritual growth.
“This is not something that will bring blessings,” he stated, warning that such a large-scale development might distract believers from the real essence of faith. He emphasized that God’s work is not measured by the size of a building but by the impact on people’s lives.
Ayodele also cautioned Nigerians against being carried away by the grandeur of religious structures. He stressed that true spirituality lies in service, humility, and helping those in need—not in constructing massive auditoriums that may serve more as symbols of wealth than centers of transformation.
